JUSTIN TONG IS COMMITTED TO OUR SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL MISSIONS ACROSS ALL LEVELS OF BUSINESS FUNCTION.

SUSTAINABILITY

JUSTIN TONG garments are made from ‘dead-stock’ fabric, which would have otherwise gone to landfill. This fabric is made uniquely JUSTIN TONG through considered embellishments and exclusive prints.

These measures reduce the number of high-quality products going to landfills, while also making each style limited edition and difficult to replicate exactly the same. We encourage each customer to recognise the value in bespoke pieces and keep their JUSTIN TONG garments longer than they would fast fashion – further reducing these fabrics from going to landfills.

RESPECT FOR OUR ARTISANS

JUSTIN TONG garments are produced in a boutique factory by a team of seamstresses and tailors who stand to oppose the large-scale and problematic factories of recent eras.
This controlled manufacturing environment allows JT to ensure safe and ethical working conditions for all staff while gaining the opportunity to know each team member on a personal level – playing to their strengths, skills and passion.
Many of these factory workers live in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where the average hourly pay is below the national poverty line. In a bid to honour our factory workers and end the systemic poverty in Vietnam (and surrounding countries), JT Garment Technicians are paid an hourly rate in line with each team member’s cost of living. Strict 8.00 am – 5.30 pm operating hours are enforced to ensure a healthy work-life balance, which is seldomly seen in Vietnam’s manufacturing industry.

UNIQUELY JUSTIN TONG

JUSTIN TONG breaths new life into otherwise ‘unloved’ fabrications through the design and inclusion of JT exclusive prints. JUSTIN TONG’s prints are designed in-house by our talented Graphic Artist, who begins each creative process by illustrating in a sketchbook before transforming each print into a bespoke garment colourway.
